Our electronic fuze and control system designs align with recognised defence safety and test principles, including MIL-STD-1316 (fuze safety) and MIL-STD-331 (environmental and performance testing), applied as appropriate to specific program requirements. DDPL works with qualified partners to support validation, testing, and integration, ensuring controlled arming, predictable behaviour, and disciplined configuration control across development programs.

Electronic Safe & Arm Devices (ESAD)

We design ESADs and firing chains that provide:

  • Robust isolation of the detonator/initiator until all arming conditions are met.
